Guided and lead over 300 women through their sophomore year. Created marketing promotions for in-hall and campus events. Worked with supervisor to design programming events for the residents in order to foster community engagement, interpersonal development, academic achievement and cultural competency. Collaborated weekly with supervisors and staff on hall status, goals, and team building opportunities.
Hillcrest Hall
2016-2017
Guided over 300 students through their junior year, working specifically with the living learning community (LLC), Academic Success through Athletic Recreation. Worked with supervisor and LLC President to create promotions for in-hall and corridor specific events. Designed programming events for the residents to foster community engagement, interpersonal development, academic achievement and cultural competency with a focus around their LLC goals and within LLC budget.
Collaborated weekly with supervisors and staff on hall status, goals, and team building opportunities.
Administrative work included creating and submitting lesson plans, reports, reflections, meeting notes, and purchase orders for events.
Soft skills included relationship and trust building with residents, conflict resolution, communication to superiors and with residents who fall in the same social construct.
